Una the Marvelous Mermaid is a professional mermaid performer and underwater artist known for blending myth, movement, and immersive storytelling. Performing within a 900-gallon aquarium, she creates captivating, up-close encounters that invite audiences into a surreal world inspired by ocean mythology. Her work draws from the nostalgic tradition of traveling sideshows while reimagining mermaids as living, breathing performance art. Based in Portland, Una is the founder and producer of the annual Portlandia Mermaid Parade and Festival and the protagonist of the internationally touring film Sirens Call. Whether performing by day or in illuminated after dark settings, her work evokes wonder, curiosity, and a sense of magic just beneath the surface.
