Octavio Ortega brings the party to the greater Seattle area with Mexicuban, a Seattle-based food truck business that he started in 2019. Mexicuban doesn’t serve food typically found at a Mexican taqueria. It’s a creative merger of Cuban and Mexican cooking- the blended heritage of his Cuban stepdad, with whom he was very close, and his Mexican upbringing.
