Gage Academy of Art will create a Bumbershoot version of their hit "Drawing Jam"—a taste of the art school experience for patrons of all ages. Complete with figure models, celebrity appearances, professional artist demonstrations and free art supplies, the Gage Drawing Jam is a chance to experience a bit of art school in the midst of the Festival. Gage, a non-profit art academy located on Seattle's Capitol Hill, won the 2007 Governor's Award for Excellence in Education.
