news Get LOST in the 2009 Bumbershoot Literary Arts Lineup
Bumbershoot is always more than just great music, and this year’s programming demonstrates the pervasive influence of writers, from film (Melvin Van Peebles) to television (LOST) to the internet (Stuff White People Like). Our literary lineup also features the beloved S.E. Hinton (The Outsiders), powerhouse indie presses (McSweeney’s, Manic D), poetry (curated by Spencer Moody), food writing, spoken word, and the unexpected (David Cross, debuting his first book!).
The 2009 Festival’s literary arts lineup includes:

Ok…so, yeah, I’ve complained a bit about the mainstage lineup this year. But the LOST writers (Cuse, in particular) booking is a major coup. Man that line to get in is gonna be crazy. LOST nerds rejoice!

Yes, I get emails every now and then when they announce more artists. Wish they would post the full lineup!
